I'd like to give credit to who I am today to the people who have been in my life. I was brought-up by a single mother who spent a lot of time developing underdeveloped countries both in Africa and the Middle East. As she was UN staff, we lived in 10+ countries in the first 19 years of my life, and I was introduced to different cultures in Africa, Asia, Europe & North America. This gave me the perspective of collaboration with different mindsets. After coming to Canada in 2001, I spent 14 years in downtown Toronto, before moving to the outskirts of Hamilton.

My experience and qualifications involve a journey in engineering, technology development, and product innovation. My experience varies from deploying mission-critical infrastructure for 100s of facilities both hands-on and as a team leader; to commercializing my invention which was developed from an industry problem and partnering with world-renowned researchers for advancing the technology. I’ve been at the forefront of the technology revolution in the telecommunication and data center industries ranging from use of AI, including predictive maintenance for customer support, development of Sensing networks to transform infrastructure into intelligent systems and deploying new technology in preparation for the emergence of new ICT driven Edge Infrastructure for both wireline and wireless (5G).

As an executive with board of directors’ experience, I have both governance and risk management experience. I have experience in financing and raising capital directly from both private and public funding sources. My operational experience includes managing cash flow, financial forecasting, human resources and collaborating with experienced executives who have been tremendous in mentoring me as a young executive. As a consultant, I’ve helped clients deliver on their objectives both on the technical and financial side. I enjoy working with clients to develop business cases to grow their businesses or even establish new streams of revenue. I have delivered on various projects with different complexities, in various industries such as data centers, telecommunications, IT, power utilities, photovoltaic, energy management & conservation and oil & gas.

The strength and quality of my experience over a very short 12+ years have helped me become a strategic thinker and being able to use innovation to create elegant solutions for challenging problems in both established and start-up environments. My passion and enthusiasm for innovation, building and managing complex projects will always result in positive contributions that will be immediate and significant. Most importantly, my human-centered design and empathy approach has been fundamental in my people skills. Doing what I do with integrity, quality and ethics are essential to what my customers, colleagues, employers, employees, vendors, investors and various stakeholders have come to know about me.
